AceShowbiz - Hey Monday's "I Don't Wanna Dance" music video has just made its way out for viewing pleasure. It highlights the band which is led by female vocalist Cassadee Pope as they make a high energy performance.
"I Don't Wanna Dance" is offered as the first taste from Hey Monday's first mini album "Beneath It All" which will be released in United States on August 17. The song has been played during their dates at this summer's Warped Tour.
"It was kind of a group effort, and we were all on the same page about it, so that's why it ended up being so great," Pope said of the album. "Everyone wanted the same thing - a mature, organic sound." Commenting on her influence in writing songs, she shared, "I started writing the record a long time ago, and was listening to a lot of Battle Studies. John Mayer is a lyrical genius, and one of those artists who really made me want to up my game."
