With uplifting hook, the new single from Jay Sean's upcoming studio album is promised to be a late-summer anthem.
Just a day after music video for Jay Sean's new single "2012" was teased, audio stream for the track hits the web. Confirmed to appear in Jay Sean's next studio album, the dance track features Nicki Minaj and will be sent to radios on August 3, five days before the music video is premiered.
"I like to make music that makes people feel good," he said when previewing the song to Entertainment Weekly at the recent "Jersey Shore" soundtrack album release party. "I'm a very positive person myself, ... you're going to love the next song, which I think is going to be stuck in everybody's head for the entire summer, and hopefully much longer."
To fit the cheerful tone of the song, Jay Sean will treat fans with party-themed music video. "The concept of the video is basically all about throwing the biggest party, celebrating life," he explained to MTV. "It's basically going around the world, from London to Tokyo to New York, seeing people celebrating good times."
