Nicole Richie has been treated at a Los Angeles hospital for pneumonia. In a confirmation on the matter, her representative assures the star is doing well.
"Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia. She is doing well," publicist Nicole Perna said Wednesday, November 18. No further detail of her latest condition has been shared with the press though.
Prior to the hospitalization, Nicole has been complaining of illness. Last week, she was forced to bow out of the launch of her House of Harlow jewelry at Bebe in L.A. and on Sunday, November 15, she tweeted "ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving."
Nicole Richie is famous as the star of reality series "The Simple Life", which also featured her best friend Paris Hilton. She has since become a fashion and jewelry designer. Professional life aside, she is a mother of two children; daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden and son Sparrow James Midnight Madden, whom she has with current living partner Joel Madden.
