"Jekyll and Hyde" has got its detailed plot making its round. Bringing the full synopsis of the re-imagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's timeless tale under the spotlight was Bloody-Disgusting (BD), which broke down what differs Dr. Jekyll from Mr. Hyde, what links them together and who is the one finding out the disturbing truth.
"Dr Jekyll is a rich doctor of great generosity who lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan," the plot unraveled. "Mr Hyde is a sadistic murderer with a reputation that strikes fear in to the hearts of people throughout New York. Peter Utterson, Dr Jekyll's lawyer and friend, investigates the mystery of who Mr Hyde is and why he is the sole beneficiary of Jekyll's will."
The synopsis was concluded with the problem faced by Utterson. "The devastating answer is that Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde are the same person and the urgent problem is how to kill the beast without destroying the man," so it ended. In addition to the synopsis, BD also put forth a promo poster for the upcoming thriller.
"Jekyll and Hyde" is a modern day adaptation of 1886 novella "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde". It will be developed under the direction of Abel Ferrara, the helmer of 1992's "Bad Lieutenant". Both Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker and rapper 50 Cent have been set to star in the movie project.
