Katy Perry has ignited Internet reports that she is engaged to boyfriend Travis McCoy after she was spotted sporting a ring on her engagement finger during an outing in Los Angeles last week. Though talks have been heating up that the Gym Class Heroes frontman has proposed to the singer, neither of them has confirmed or denied the claim.
Having been dating on and off since they first met through her music producer back in 2005, Katy Perry and Travis McCoy briefly split in December last year before then reconciling in April. Last year, they were forced to deny report that they were engaged.
"NOT engaged!" she wrote on her blog when denying The New York Daily News' Gatecrasher claim that Travis proposed to her during a romantic break to the French capital, Paris. "But thanks for the free press, New York Daily News!" she continued, adding that "You should fact check with the source before you spread world wide news like that."
