In working on the new project, which is still untitled, Carrie teams up again with producer Mark Bright. The duo joined forces in 7 tracks of Carrie's debut album "Some Hearts" and all of the tracks in the sophomore effort "Carnival Ride". According to the press release, Carrie is still working on the album.
Carrie, the winner of "American Idol" season 4, became the first Idol winner to earn 10 No. 1 hits. Forbes recently listed her to be the highest earning Idol contestant with an estimated $14 million income during last year only.
