In the casting call, the character Anthony Greer is a white collar guy but struggling "with the look of a man who only makes minimum credit card payments". He explains to Delko and Calleigh that the reason his car showed up at a crime scene is because he was carjacked three days ago. However, later incriminating evidence proves him wrong and a smug Anthony Greer is booked as an accessory to murder.
People also quoted executive producer Ann Donahue on the casting. "Our casting director suggested [Green] to me for this role," Donahue explained. "I thought he was perfect because he can play a tough guy and also have a leading man presence. So, we are thrilled to have him in our finale!"
