AceShowbiz - After admitting last week that she's been considering for another adoption from Malawi, Madonna has been confirmed to have filed legal papers to adopt a second child from the poverty stricken African country. An official at the Malawi welfare department as well as a U.S. government official have confirmed that matter to The Associated Press.

Concerning her latest adoption effort, Madonna is expected to visit Malawi this weekend and her adoption case could go before the courts as early as Monday, March 30. "We expect her over the weekend or earlier than that ... but without a doubt she is coming before the end of this month," an official at the Ministry of Gender and Child Development has told Reuters.

And while there hasn't been any single comment from Madonna's people regarding that matter, reports have been escalating that the music diva will be bringing adopted son David Banda on her trip to Malawi. The boy's father, Yohane Banda, also confirms to the AP, "Someone from Raising Malawi visited me last week and told me that my son may be visiting me sometime next week. I am delighted, I want to see my son."

In the meantime, there have yet further details about the child that Madonna would like to adopt. It is also not known if she wants to adopt a boy or a girl.
