"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson revealed to have desire of releasing an indie album in the future. He said, "I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I'd like to do something independent."
Robert, who is expected to reprise his role as Edward Cullen in "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", furthermore said that he is not afraid if the record fails because he "got nothing to lose." The actor explained, "I don't care if people buy it or not. I'd just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff."
Robert Pattinson has shared his plan to make music as a "back-up plan if acting fails" back in January. However, he admitted to have "never really recorded anything" because he feared that fans thought he just tried to cash in.
Singing is not something new for Robert as he has contributed two songs in "Twilight". Earlier in December 2008, he also stated he has been playing in a band called Bad Girls. "The band belongs to my first girlfriend's current boyfriend and he was having an open mic night. He invited me to sing, but it was just a bit of fun - that was about six months ago. I don't know where that's going to go," he said.

i got the twilight cd, and was disappointed to find my fav music in the movie not on there, very sad i think rob should defin release his music, i loved it!!!

I think Rob should hurry up with his CD. I was a bit late with the obsession with twilight lol and have been looking EVERYWHERE for a cd of his, I LOVE his voice!

Haven't been here for awhile, it was interesting to see the comments on this. I think that women of any age can appreciate Mr Pattinsons, talent, beauty, music, and most of all his obvious humility. I see the twinkle in his eye marveling at all the fuss..His genuine amusement...It's great...Keep us entertained for a long while Mr Pattinson....Your parents must be very proud of the job they did raising you....
his music is amazing and too me very personal for him, the lyrics are very heart felt and emotional. i hope he does bring out an album. that would be really awesome. your gorgeous rob!
Rob, PLEASE cut a CD! My husband also thinks Im nuts. But, hey what can I say, Pattinson's incredibly alluring! Even to a 40 yr old!

I'm so glad to see the older ladies here Cher, Mimi, Jeaniebeanie. I was starting to think something was wrong with me the way I've been obsessing about Robert. I'm a 27-year-old law student and I'm acting like a giddy 15-year-old. Man, it sure takes me back though. I've never had a celebrity crush. I'd been keeping it a secret for shame of the endless teasing I'd get from my family or friends. But I finally outed it out to my boyfriend yesterday, he just thought it was normal and amusing. God, Rob is just so sexy, I love that he's so vulnerable.

I think it's because not only does he have the sexiest eyes I've ever seen but he seems to be a genuinely nice person and pretty down to earth for such a huge celebrity. That's very appealing to me. I'd buy his album but only cuz he's ROB and I love everything about him. His music isn't necessarily my taste, but I'll support it anyway! Cher/Rina- my husband sorta understands my obsession, but I don't understand WHY i'm acting like a teenager again when i'm 34! Rob/Twilight certainly has a strange effect on ALL WOMEN!

It sounds very exciting! For him to be able to work with other artists and get a chance to use his voice in many ways. I heard his song I'll Be Your Lover, Too! Sounds a lot like Van Morrison, obviously. Aside from that I love Broken, Roam, and Stray Dog. I would really like to hear anything he has out in the future. It sits a very intimate mood.

Yeah Robert has an amazing voice! I would buy the album in a heart beat if he ever did one! I dont think there is one thing Robert cant do! I love the movies he is in and I love the sound of his amazing voice. I would love to hear him more often! Robert Pattinson is the MAN!!!

i have the twilight soundtrack and i have heard one of his songs which is one of the tracks. i like him and all but i always seem to skip the song cus it puts me to slepp. KINDA BORING:(
