Franz Ferdinand come out bringing a music video for their new song "Ulysses". In the video, frontman Alex Kapranos is seen wandering aimlessly around the town, seemingly to be overwhelmed by his boredom.
While chanting "I'm bored/I'm bored", Alex picks up the phone and calls someone. At some point, the scene is cut with a capture of the band playing the song in a narrow bedroom. It also features Alex getting himself into a washing machine.
"Ulysses" is the lead single from Franz Ferdinand's upcoming third studio record "Tonight: Franz Ferdinand". While the album will not be available for U.S. purchase until January 27, the track has received first airplay at BBC Radio 1 on November 17, 2008 and arrived in iTunes music stores on December 2, 2008.
