Despite the fact that homosexuality is still banned in Dubai, Lindsay Lohan and her lesbian partner Samantha Ronson have reportedly looked for a quiet place to live on the Palm Island development. The pair is rumored to have fallen in love with a luxurious property worth $2.18 million in the Middle Eastern, right near where Victoria Adams and David Beckham live, according to reports.
"Lindsay and Sam loved the tacky glitziness of Dubai," a source told The Daily Mirror. "There is so much money and opulence out there it really impressed Lindsay - she can be quite materialistic like that. Despite her fair skin, Lindsay loves the beach and sunshine."
"And with the property market over there probably the only place where there still seems to be a boom, she thinks it will be a wise investment," the source explained further. "There isn't as much paparazzi either - although that's sure to change once Lindsay and Sam become regulars on the scene."
Previously, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were reportedly spotted involving in a heated argument with each other at Miami International Airport on New Year's Day. They were also caught fighting at the opening event of the Atlantis nightspot in Dubai back in November 2007.
