Though rejecting to give out hints on the fourth 'RoboCop' movie, director Darren Aronofsky still managed to unearth one intriguing hint of the new flick.

The new "RoboCop" project may not take place somewhere in today's America, let alone in the present-time Detroit. At the 33rd Annual Toronto International Film Festival, director Darren Aronofsky hinted the point saying to MTV News, "I don't think it's set anywhere that's recognizable."

Though giving out bit of information about the set which is most likely to be a city of the future, the director of 2008 Golden Lion recipient "The Wrestler" only explained briefly on the factor attracting him to the film and refused to talk further about the project until the script is finished. "It's an interesting landscape," he said. "But we've got to get a screenplay. We're deep in it. But there's not much to say until there is a screenplay."

Contrary to the circulating rumor, the film's producers have stated that "RoboCop" would be a reimagining of the film about the murdered cop re-created as a super-human cyborg instead of a direct sequel. Producer Mike Medavoy has also noted that the film slated for 2010 release is most likely to be rated 'R' like the previous installments.

If this film is set in the future, and is not in Detroit, then fuck this movie. It seems like they're already doing away with what made the film great. I'm sure there will be little satire, and way too much special effects.

RoboCop 3 is PG-13. Anyway, can't wait for this movie.
