Rumor has it that Javier Bardem is planning to propose to actress girlfriend Penelope Cruz. The Spanish actor, as reported by British the Daily Mail, is about to pop the question during their holiday next month.
The couple's planned engagement was outed by a source close to them, who as well also revealed that they will move to London September later this year while Penelope is due to work on her new big screen movie, "Nine." The source said, "He plans to ask when they are away on holiday. Then, in September, they will be coming over to the U.K. to live while Penelope makes her new film."
"Both Penelope and Javier are very excited about their future together," the source continued saying. "It has been rumored that Javier has already proposed but he hasn't asked Penelope to marry him yet." The report hasn't been officially confirmed just yet.
Bardem and Cruz first met on the set of the 1992 film "Jamon, Jamon." Their love relationship was first exposed by the media in October 2007.

Javier has already proposed but he hasn't asked Penelope to marry him yet? That doesn't make sense! This story is ridiculous! I read on several other sites that Cruz will be moving to the USA next month to start rehearsals for Nine which begins filming there in October and they are both going to be promoting Vicky Cristina Barcelona there in August too! Nine is filming in the UK but not until late fall. I also read on several sites that Javier will be attending the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain in early Sept. and then he's attending the Asian Film Festival in late Sept. Don't know who your "source" is but he/she needs to do some research.Get yourself a better source!
