The indie pop act are set to drop something special for their fans by preparing to record a song with the English rapper/producer.
A new and interesting stuff is about to be done by Indie pop band The Ting Tings who planned to do a collaboration with English rapper Dizzee Rascal. The news was confirmed by the band's vocalist Katie White, revealing that they will be working on a new track together.
Speaking to the press, Katie said that the collaboration idea came up after her band and Dizzee met at Glastonbury Festival. The female singer stated that the rapper was the one who offered them to record something together saying, "We saw Dizzee Rascal at Glastonbury and he told us that he was planning to do a cover of our song for Radio 1's Live Lounge. He was like 'You know, we should work together'."
Katie also added that she and her band immediately approved Dizzee's offer and believed that their collaboration would be a great one. "We would actually love to do that as he's great. It would be good to do something new and just see what turns out," she said.
Moreover, the singer also said that despite Ting Tings have a different music style with Dizzee it won't stop them from creating a great music. "We make quite different music from each other but I think it would be interesting," Katie explained. "I've got some ideas of what I'd like us to do but I don't want to give them away."
