There is a speculation that Jessica Simpson will do a new venture with her new boyfriend, the American football star Tony Romo. And it involves getting inside the recording studio.
Words are circulating that the pop singer wants Romo to appear in her new CD which is currently being baked in a Nashville studio. A source spilled it to National Enquirer, "Jessica has been schooled in publicity tricks by her manager dad, Joe, and she knows that a duet with Tony will attract major attention."
Simpson has been recording in the studio since December 2007 and will release the album sometime in 2008. She switched her music genre in this album, from the usual pop to country, citing that she has always been "a country girl".
On her involvement with Romo, she was criticized by his fans for putting the Dallas Cowboys quarterback off his game in recent weeks. She was, however, defended by her ex, John Mayer, who wrote on his blog: "I have never known anyone to have more pride in their home state and their upbringing in it than Jessica Simpson has in Texas. That girl loves Texas more than you know. It's one of her most defining traits as a person. So please don't try and take that away from her."
