AceShowbiz - Is a Kabbalah devotee, it appears that Madonna has become very fanatic to everything related to the religion. The superstar is said to spend $10,000 a month on specially blessed Kabbalah water, which she apparently couldn't get enough of.
Madonna, according to In Touch Weekly, only drinks specially blessed Kabbalah water and already told one of her friends that she spends an average of $10,000 on the liquid for her and her entire family to drink.
The water, reportedly cost $5 for a small bottle, has been claimed as the "only stuff" Madonna will touch.
"Madonna drinks a lot of water - that's one of her fitness secrets. And Kabbalah water is the only stuff she will touch," a source close to the diva was quoted as saying. "She also makes sure she always has some to hand, and has it regularly shipped to wherever in the world she is staying at the time."
Kabbalah Water, according to kabbalahwater.com, "manifests water's primordial capacity to heal and protect." Some leaders from the Kabbalah Centre, moreover, are said to have claimed the water has the power to cure diseases including cancer and AIDS.
Madonna has been a devout follower of Kabbalah, a mystical off-shoot of Judaism, since the late 90s. She has, on many occasions, been seen wearing the recognizable "red string" around her left wrist, which according to kabbalah.com, is to "protect us from the envious looks of others, and to help us eliminate feelings of jealousy and resentment in ourselves."
