AceShowbiz - Singing, acting, designing clothes, and now Justin Timberlake can add TV mogul to his impressive career resume. The pop singer has just inked deal with communication giant Verizon to launch his own channel.
To be called JT-TV, the new network Timberlake is starting will feature movies, music and fashion programming. Announcement on the deal was made public by the singer's manager Johnny Wright at Timberlake's pre-Grammy Hollywood party on Friday night Feb 9th.
The JT-TV will, in addition, feature a backstage footage, about which Timberlake said, "It started from Verizon sponsoring the tour, and they came to me with the initial idea. 'What if you had your own channel? What would it be like to be backstage with you?' And instead, I was like, 'What would it be like to be there every day with us?'"
