Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz have concluded to walk out from Focus Features' comedic project of "A Little Game Without Consequence."

AceShowbiz - The game sadly has bitter consequence this time. The Hollywood Reporter has shockingly revealed that Focus Features' "A Little Game Without Consequence" won't see the reunion between Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz as the pair has decided to quit the project along with director Gabriele Muccino.
Principal reason behind the departure is said to be because of problems over the script that has gone in a different direction than the twosome expected when they became involved. Both Carrey and Diaz initially were slated to begin filming the picture this month in New York, but with this withdrawal, all production plans are automatically scrapped.
Adapted from the French play written by Jean Dell and Gerald Sibleyras, the flick's basic premise is about a seemingly perfect couple who realize that their friends never liked them as couple to begin with after they pretend to break up. The original screenplay was penned by Allan Loeb before Muccino took over to work on the most recent draft of it.
