On the twosome's relationship, People magazine does confirm that Simpson and Mayer "are embarking on a not-so-public affair".
"She's tiptoeing back into the dating world," a source tells the publication. "It's the first stage. She's never been happier."
Well, we'll have to wait until both Jess and Mayer recover from laryngitis that they could then release further confirmation on the report.
