Hayden Christensen finally joins "Jumper" to play a young man who has the ability to teleport.
The dust has been cleared up. Answering the big question on his involvement in "Jumper", Hayden Christensen has finally been confirmed to join the picture, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Replacing Tom Sturridge, Christensen therefore will play the lead role of David, a young man from a broken home who discovers that he has the ability to teleport. Accompanying him in the cast are Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Bell, and Teresa Palmer.
Based on the Steven Gould's novel, pic is relying on Doug Liman who will direct based on David Goyer's script which has been rewritten by Simon Kinberg. Regency Enterprises and 20th Century Fox have teamed up to finance the movie with a hope to turn the story into a trilogy.
