Aidan Quinn signs up for drama movie "Dark Matter".
Has his recent controversial TV drama series "The Book of Daniel" canceled after religious protests after just eight shows, Aidan Quinn is moving on.
The actor reportedly has joined the cast of the upcoming drama movie titled "Dark Matter". Has been tapped to play a science professor in the film, the actor is working with such notable names as Meryl Streep, Blair Brown, and Liu Ye, who makes his American film debut.
Based on a true story, "Dark Matter" follows the story of Liu Xing, a brilliant Chinese science student, who strives to impress his mentor Jacob Reiser with his theories on the origins of the universe. Helping Liu Xing adapts but unable to protect him from academic politics are Joanna, a patron of the university with a passion for all things Chinese and Hildy, Reiser's secretary.
Production of the film is underway in Salt Lake City with Andrea Miller and Mary Salter give hand at producing.
