DiCaprio Got a Dozen Stitches

"While leaving a small private gathering, Leo was attacked by a woman who was trespassing and had been repeatedly asked to leave the property. The attacker struck him with a glass object before being restrained by witnesses." That's the explanation given to People magazine by Leonardo DiCaprio spokesman Ken Sunshine, concerning the incident happened to the actor while attending a party given by Rick Salomon.

Go into details, the actor reportedly was at a party at about 4 a.m. Friday at the home of Salomon when a woman struck him with a beer bottle. He soon rushed to a hospital where he received about a dozen stitches to close a wound near his ear. This wound later on is expected to not affect DiCaprio's work on "The Departed," which is shooting in Boston and New York.
