Stones Comes Up for Fall Tour

The Rollin Stoes has announced their next planned tour, which begins August 21 in Boston and ends

The Rolling Stones has, on Tuesday May 10, 2005, performed a free outdoor mini-concert at Lincoln Center, outside The Juilliard School in Manhattan. During the performance, the band announced their next planned tour, which is scheduled to begin this fall.

Detailing on their play date, The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger ensured that the tour, meant to support an in-the-works, as-yet-untitled new studio album, will begin August 21 in Boston and hit the New York area September 15 at Giants Stadium. Soon then the band will hit most major U.S. and Canadian cities in the fall, tour director Michael Cohl adds.

After the U.S. dates, which wrap December 1 in Houston, the tour then travels in 2006 to Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Europe and perhaps China, a locale where The Rolling Stones has been trying to play for years. Just like usual, the tour will feature all the band members, which inclue Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts.

To notice, fan club presale tickets will be available Tuesday afternoon, while public sale of tickets for the shows in Boston; Washington, D.C.; Atlanta; Miami; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Calgary, Alberta, will go on sale Saturday for around $100 a pop.
