Nelly's Success Concert Despite the Boycott

Nelly's concert at Arkansas State University was very success, watched by nearly 6,300 fans despite the many protest urged by local ministers


Though being protested by local ministers, still Nelly's concert held on Saturday March 12, 2005 at Arkansas State University was very success. The concert took place at the Convocation Center was firstly opposed by 20 local ministers who threated to boycott it because the rapper song lyrics, which according to them refer to drugs, sex and violence.

Apart from the boycott issue, the concert which was part of Nelly's nationwide tour had, in fact, crowded by nearly 6300 fans.
