comedy with a message. Fun to watch. somewhat thoughtful. and an awesome soundtrack! Everyone who loves the sea and misses it, is gonna love this movie.

If you love the ocean and love the beach you'll love this movie.. great music as well!

This was on of Mcconaughey's best movies in my opinion because besides the drugs and cheap living style it seems to portray his own life as a laid back dude that surfs, which he does.

when I saw the dvd cover I thought "how stupid, poor Matt", so glad I decided to watch, best movie in a long time, awesome music, thumbs up!!!

I thought this movie was great. It reminds you that there is more to life than money and falling in line with everyone else. It was good enough to catch the attention of a poor kansas kid who's house is made of corn :-)

I thought the movie was great! I LOVE the idea of the Under The Sun products! I'd want more then just stickers though...t-shirts, swimsuits, hats, beach towels, sunglasses, shorts, beach bags, jewelry, surf boards....you could really go a long way with it! And like the rest, I want the soundtrack!!

It wasn't amazing, but it was pretty fucking great... I went into it hating it, and left it not hating it... which says a lot. They could have done a much worse job, much easier... they only "hollywood it up" a few times... and anyone who knows pro surfing knows it's kinda rigged and structured JUST like that... it actually was pretty good look at the industry, and I think that's why surfers like this movie. Plus Addy is so damn likable...

Although the story line had some holes, as a surfer, I loved this flick! Made me pull out the board and dust it off!

I thought the movie was great. I think the movie was a metaphor about the electronic age. For instance, the wave drought represents how virtual reality games will take people away from the real deal;even if the surf is pumping people will prefer to play these games. Therefore not living life to its full potential and becoming a sell out to multinational game companies

Dude I love this movie!!! Its so chill and relaxed I wanted to pack my stuff and move to Cali to catch a wave. Add man did a great job describing why surfing is so great and free spirit. Thats the way to live life my friends

Great movie watch it all the time. Did care for McConaughey before seeing this movie but am now a fan.

This movie had a great choice of actors and actress's. It also had a great meaning, it was that "If you love something bad enough then if you wait long enough then it will come to you like the winds from the skys. Just remember "Bless the flowers, Bless the Weed" and "Slow wide turns."
