Full Movie Nominees of the 2008 Teen Choice Awards
June 18, 2008 11:06:02For the 10th time in a row, teenagers across the country are given the power to choose their favorites in the entertainment industry for the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. On Tuesday, June 17, the annual award show whose winners are voted by teens aged 12 to 19 has announced its long list of this year's nominees and the movie category has been dominated by romantic comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and drama comedy "Juno".
Both Universal Pictures' flick featuring Hollywood hotties, Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis, and Fox Searchlight Pictures' film starring rising star Ellen Page earned themselves five gongs each. "Forgetting" gathered nod for Best Romantic Comedy Movie, brought double nominations for Bell in the category of Comedy Actress and Breakout Female, and helped Kunis and Jason Segel to get gong for Breakout Female and Breakout Male respectively. Meanwhile, "Juno" nailed a count for Best Comedy Movie and put its two stars, Page and Michael Cera, for double nods. Page is up for Comedy Actress and Breakout Female, and Cera is in run for Comedy Actor and Breakout Male.

March 12, 2007 01:03:07Refuses to go idle during her eight-week hiatus from "Veronica Mars", Kristen Bell have reached an agreement to topline Universal Pictures' romantic comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", Production Weekly has reported.
Poised to star opposite Jason Segel who also wrote the script, the beauty is going to play the titular role whom Segel's character, Peter, is trying hard to forget following their devastating break-up by taking a vacation in Hawaii. Much to his surprise, she turns out to also stay at the same exclusive resort as he does, together with her new boyfriend.
