Now, he is tackling another possible to be outrageous movie, "Bruno" and it seems that he is ready to deliver much more controversies with it.
In the latest news regarding the movie about the gay Austrian reporter, it is said that Cohen who portrays the titular character has tricked Yossi Alpher, a former Mossad top spy, and Ghassam Khalib, a Palestinian academic, into making an appearance in the feature film disguising it to be a youth documentary. Dressed in black leather and studs, Cohen allegedly ridiculed militant group Hamas.

Now, the 36-year-old is gearing up to introduce another potentially controversial movie, "Bruno", and for it, Universal Pictures have picked up a suitable summer release date.
The comedy movie that is developed from one of Cohen's noted characters in comedy television series "Da Ali G Show" is now set to be debuted on the big screen nationwide on May 15, 2009. It means that the movie about the eccentric gay Austrian fashion reporter will be up against "Angels & Demons", the prequel of "The Da Vinci Code" which stars Tom Hanks. The release of "Bruno" on that particular day will also mark the starter kick of the summer movie season since the date chosen has often been identified with the beginning of the summer movie season.

After being sued by many for his hit mockumentary comedy "Borat", the Golden Globe-winning actor's film crew have allegedly made the airport securities at the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport floundering about when filming his latest comedy "Bruno".
Kansas.com reported that the filming of the Universal Pictures' comedy has generated "red alert" on the airport officials as a film crew of a film about a European man going to America stripped down to their tight shorts. After stripping down, the crew then said to be dancing, kissing and fighting in the airport lobby. It is unknown though whether Cohen was among the crew as the online publication didn't note him nor his character in the article.

According to Defamer.com, the Universal Pictures' movie slated for late 2008 release has been seen taking its principal photography in Los Angeles.
The site reports that an eyewitness has seen the British comedian shooting for the film at On Your Marks Studio in Sherman Oaks on last Thursday, February 21. The source said, "I saw Sacha Baron Cohen doing filming as Bruno (gay Austrian) at On Your Marks Studio in Sherman Oaks on Feb. 21st. He was dressed in tight leather black pants with a bedazzeled g-string showing. his hair was frosted blond and straight."

Organizers have on Wednesday announced the awards nominees that include some famous films, like "The Constant Gardener" which is a big nominee with seven nominations.
