October 21, 2009 09:10:05Swimmer Natalie Coughlin did not make it to the next round of "Dancing with the Stars" after receiving the boot this week. She only got 22 out of 30 from the judges for the Paso Doble on Monday night performance and the audience vote did not help. "I love this so much. I guess I didn't show it... but I really did... and I'm sorry," she said upon exit.
The three judges were somewhat surprised by the elimination of Natalie and the fact that Aaron Carter was also in the bottom two. "I'm heartbroken. ...The viewers, they want to support underdogs, but justice must prevail," Len Goodman commented on who viewers cast their votes to.

The substitution resulted in generous amount of 9s being drawn out from under the table. Aaron Carter and Mya each scored the triple 9 in their respective performances.
The first couple to take the stage on Monday, September 28 was Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough who did the Jive. Carrie immediately made a comment about Joanna's huge hair and her lack in footwork department. Bruno said they need to be exact with Jive and that Joanna lost rhythm sometime. Baz said they have to show more of the relationship because they got great chemistry. Score: 6-7-7, a total 20 out of 30.
Video Premiere: Cascada's 'Fever'
September 19, 2009 11:09:21German Eurodance group Cascada have premiered the music video for "Fever", the third single released from their third album "Evacuate the Dancefloor". The video which was shot back in July presents Natalie Horler breaking into executive meeting with her two entourage and crawling on the table.
The single is not yet scheduled to be released in the U.S. but will be available in German on October 9. The album itself, which was released on July 3 this year, has spawned a charting single which is the title track. As of this week, "Evacuate the Dance Floor" climbed from no. 41 to 39 in the Hot 100 chart. Should it reach the top 10 position then it would follow the success of "Everytime We Touch".

Eat the vegetable, be healthy and still sexy. It is a known fact that Prince really is a strict vegetarian, nonetheless he's been chosen the "World's Sexiest Vegetarian" in PETA's annual online poll, the animal rights group announced Monday May 22nd, 2006.
Runners-up in the poll, which PETA said received over 40,000 votes, include Kristen Bell, Natalie Portman, Nicollette Sheridan and Joaquin Phoenix among others.

Once again set to hold Ivor Novello Awards this year, British Academy of Composers and Songwriters has announced the nominees of the prestigious event and it was Coldplay who turned out to lead the nominations. Receiving three nods, the band has been nominated through "Fix You" in the category of Best Song also "Speed of Sounds" which will challenge James Blunt's hit single of "You're Beautiful" in those of PRS Most Performed Work and International Hit of the Year.
Other nominees include notable names like Robbie Williams and Natalie Imbruglia who both obtained one nomination as well as Kaiser Chiefs and Athlete who compete in the same category of Best Contemporary Song. Making a return to music industry after a 4-years-hiatus, Dixie Chicks is about to give their devoted fans a surprise. It is in the form of a new album. Entitled "Taking The Long Way", the album which all of its 14 songs were co-written by members Marty Maguire, Emily Robison and Natalie Maines, is scheduled for a May 23rd release date.
Was produced by the likes of Rick Rubin, Neil Diamond, Run DMC and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the new set among others consist song titles "Lubbock Or Leave It," "Everybody Knows," and "Not Ready To Make Nice." Named the film "Goya's Ghosts," it tells the story of the last years of the Spanish Inquisition, when the Church tortured and executed suspected Jews, as told by the painter.
Has been attached to star in is Javier Bardem, Natalie Portman and Stellan Skarsgard. Portman is set to portray Goya's muse Ines, falsely accused of heresy. Bardem will play a sinister monk, Brother Lorenzo, while Skarsgard will play the painter role.
The Vendetta Is Delayed
August 24, 2005 02:08:23It isn't London's recent bomb attacks that cause the release date of the terrorism-themed movie "V for Vendetta" being postponed. Instead, technical difficulties are responsible for the date change from November until next year, the movie bosses insisted.
Aside, a Warner Brothers source explains, "The film is still in post-production and the visual effects wouldn't be completed in time. That's why it's being postponed. There might also be some extra shooting days but none of the scenes involving the Underground are being altered."
Owen, Portman Score at Globes

It was really unpredictable that both of them had beaten some other strong competitors, like Morgan Freeman, who played in Million Dollar Baby, David Carradine for Kill Bill: Vol. 2, Thomas Haden Church for Sideways and Jamie Foxx for Collateral.
In that occasion, besides giving their best thanks to Mike Nichols, the Closer director, for his deed during the film making, Owen and Portman also "boosting" their possibility in winning the upcoming Academy Awards.
