Issues - Hero

Hero

Released in 2014, the music video for Issues by rapper Pusha T is a hard-hitting commentary on the prevalence of violence in the United States. The video, which can be viewed on YouTube, features graphic footage of shootings, stabbings, and other acts of violence. Pusha T's lyrics, which are equally hard-hitting, explore the causes and consequences of violence, and call for an end to the cycle. The video has been praised for its stark realism and its unflinching look at a difficult issue. However, it has also been criticized for its graphic violence and its lack of hope.
