Erica says, "Anna's breeding plan relies on one thing-getting the DNA from the live-aboards. We're going to stop her from doing that." The plan is to corrupt the final group of humans headed up to the mothership with a flu strain programmed to destroy reproductive functions. The hope is it will annihilate all other DNA the Visitors previously extracted. Hobbes refers to the virus as DNA bombs. Catchy.

The team breaks into a lab to snag a virus. There's a shootout with the guards. Hobbes is hit. Jack is shocked when Erica guns down the guy who nailed him. Fortunately, the guard was wearing a bulletproof vest. Erica claims she knew that. Jack isn't so sure. He's also troubled by how chummy Erica and Hobbes are getting. But the thing that really bugs Jack is the fact that Erica lied about the possibly deadly side effects associated with their little virus plan.

The virus is successfully administered to potential live-aboards around the world. Will Lerner, the guy Erica infected, collapses during check-in aboard the mothership. Anna knows something's up. She orders everyone to be rescreened, cleaned and then labeled as Fifth Column in order to explain their execution. Will Lerner is painted as a suicide bomber who killed himself aboard the New York mothership. The virus plan failed, but the good news is that the world now knows that the Fifth Column is still around.

Several of Anna's breeding candidates have died from an unidentified illness. Lisa assures her mother that she'll come through in the clutch with Raphael. But When Tyler catches his girl with another guy, a fistfight ensues. Raphael starts bleeding from the eyes and spewing a nasty discharge from the mouth. Moments later, Barcelona boy is on life support suffering from the same affliction that killed the other breeding candidates. Thomas says they could lose all viable candidates unless they get the last of the needed DNA.

A little girl named Jennifer Hartswell has a uniquely high immune system. Her mom, Melissa, is reluctant to join live-aboard because there aren't any other kids on the ship. Anna alleviates her fear by saying she also has a child, Amy. Ryan's daughter will play this role which means her father is expendable. Ryan blows away the guard who tries to kill him but is less successful in his attempt to convince Joshua to cure his daughter.

Ryan makes contact with Lisa, who shows him that his former queen is alive and well. Diana speaks of escape pods on the ship, but Ryan doesn't want to go anywhere without his daughter. Diana claims she can cure Ryan's child with her bliss. This is enough to convince him to escape in the pod and return to Earth. Diana then orders Lisa to deliver a message to someone she trusts. Believe it or not, the Visitor of which she speaks is Marcus.

The DNA mixture is complete. Tyler is the first to be injected with Anna doing syringe honors herself. Back on Earth, Jack and Erica are drifting further apart. But Hobbes is totally digging the new Fifth Column leader. He pops by Erica's place for a late night drink. Hobbes reveals that he had someone he cared about once but she died. He promises they'll get Tyler back. Moments later, they are undressing each other for a night of passion. Wonder how Jack will react to this shocker.
