A Financial Crimes agent is killed in Los Angeles after returning from Kabul and the team is called in to investigate. A photo leads the team to a rug shop where they meet Eshan, a young man who trades money on Hawala, an anonymous system with ties to terrorist groups. Tracking money leads the team to discover that money was flowing in and out of Kabul through a hospital. Kensi and Granger go to the hospital and learn that it is a front for terrorist operations. The team quickly discovers the target of the next terrorist attack is a naturalization ceremony in Santa Monica. Eshan identifies the terrorists, and Sam and Deeks prevent the bombs from going off.
