Taylor is furious when the Panthers perform badly against the Mavericks. In the stands, Shelly suggests that one reason Taylor's feeling so grouchy is not enough sex. Shelly points out Noah, claiming that Julie has a crush on him, which irks Tami all the more. Despite a verbal spanking from Taylor, Smash is all smiles in anticipation of a recruiting trip to party school McNair State. He tells Saracen it's going to be Cabo in his pants, but his Mom warns him to behave since he'll be representing their family.

After a post-game make-out session, Lauren invites Saracen inside since her parents are away, but he declines in favor of going home to Carlotta. He thought they shared a connection, but Carlotta tells him to forget about it - nothing happened. At school, Riggins waits for Tami to beg her to ask Taylor if he can return to the team.

Tami tells Taylor that she can't not have a friend at school. Taylor admits that it's not really about Glenn, but he wants to be the one that Tami's yukkin it up with. Saracen tells Carlotta that he broke up with Lauren. He thinks he's been blown off, but Carlotta closes his bedroom door, and they rip each others' clothes off. Landry walks into the police station and confesses to murder.

Tyra is pulled out of class to meet with a female police officer. The brother of Tyra's rapist, Jeff Caldwell, is trying to make amends on behalf of his family and wants to meet with Tyra. Tami eats lunch with Glenn in her office, and Taylor walks in while he's cleaning baby puke off her back. Tami wants to talk about Riggins so Taylor kicks Glenn out to explain that Riggins can't just get on and off the team like a bus.

Tami needs a night out, so Taylor suggests they have a dinner date, but she prefers to go to Bunco Night with some other teachers. Smash tours McNair, and he's loving the guys on the team, except for giant, surly Katrell. Bummed out, Riggins feeds Guy's ferrets while missing football. Wearing only his tighty whities and making boozy smoothies, Guy tells Riggins that there's a lot more to life than football. They're going hunting tomorrow, so Riggins can kill himself some dinner.

Tami spies Julie returning "The World According to Garp" to Noah in the hallway. Tami pulls Noah into a classroom and lays into him leaving the door open for students to hear. She thinks that giving Julie salacious reading material is inappropriate, let alone having lunch behind closed doors, and touching when they talk. She can have him fired, thrown in prison, and beaten up by her husband. Amazed, Noah leaves without responding.

Tyra tells Landry that she doesn't want to meet with Jeff Caldwell, and only said "yes" so she wouldn't look suspicious. Landry offers to go for her, and Tyra reaches out for his hand. When Julie can't find Noah in the lunchroom, she sits with Lois, who tells her that news of Tami's tirade is all over the school. Julie runs to Tami's office to scream at her. Meanwhile, Riggins sits in a hunting blind with Guy drinking beer and waiting for something to shoot, agreeing that it doesn't get better than this.

Landry meets with Jeff, explaining that Tyra didn't see the point of the meeting - what could he possibly have to say? When Jeff starts talking about their problematic childhood, Landry stops him. Plenty of people with problems don't become rapists. Taylor gets surly as Tami prepares for her night out. Guy gives Riggins money to buy beer and cold medicine.

Carlotta is just giving in to Saracen's kiss when Lauren knocks on the door with freshly baked cookies. Carlotta shuts herself in her bedroom, leaving frustrated Saracen with Lauren. When Tami comes home after a beer with Glenn, Taylor lays into her. He doesn't like Tami "yukking it up" with Glenn. Tami protests, but Taylor goes onto say that Glenn is disrespectful, and undermines their relationship. Tami needs to pay more attention to her family. Tami tells Taylor to sleep on the couch.

After clubbing, it's all champagne and bikinis at a frat house party. Smash and Felicia go back to her room to rip each other's clothes off. Jealous Katrell busts down the door to chase Smash off campus, wearing only his boxers. Laughing, Saracen picks him up in the morning. He asks what's the best way to break up with someone, and Smash advises him to say he wants an open relationship, and the girl will do all the work.

Julie cries on Shelly's shoulder, ignoring Tami. Shelly tries to talk to Tami, but Tami silences her, telling Shelly she's not a mother and she has no idea. Shelly asks Tami how she would have felt if their mother did what she did to Julie, and Tami admits she would have been mortified. While meeting with the Teen Messengers, Lyla spies Landry looking glum. In tears, he admits that he has a secret that's eating him up inside. Lyla advises him to have faith and tell the truth.

Saracen asks Lauren for an open relationship and she breaks up with him immediately. Riggins stumbles across a meth lab in Guy's backyard. Guy claims it's a good thing that Riggins is cool, or he'd have to kill him. Riggins puts on his uniform and returns to the football field, despite Taylor yelling at him to get out. He apologizes to the team for letting them down, promising to make it up to them.
