Brothers & Sisters Episode 5.19 Wouldn't It Be Nice

It's obvious to the Walker boys that Brody has completely fallen for their mom. She's pretty gaga for the guy, too. When Justin catches Nora's new fella sweating up a storm in the kitchen, he suspects Brody may have some serious health issues. The next day, Nora is surprised to learn that Brody is taking her to a baseball game in Fresno. Batter up!

As it turns out, Brody has ulterior motives for taking Nora out to the old ballgame. The team there has offered him a job as manager. He wants Nora to join him on this new adventure. Back in Pasadena, Justin's paramedic partner hacks into the hospital computer to sneak a peek at Brody's medical records. The guy's in good health, but Justin uncovers something that's most unsettling. He now knows that Brody lied about the possibility that he could be Sarah's father.

Justin wants Brody to tell his mother the truth, but he's afraid that'll blow the good thing they have going. Later, Nora says she'll go to Fresno with Brody. She loves him and doesn't want him to sleep outside in his motor home anymore.

Brody loves Nora, too. He kisses her on the forehead as she sleeps. It's a kiss goodbye. He tells Justin that Sarah is better off thinking William is her father after all this time. Justin knows that Brody's departure will break his mom's heart. At least she has her family to help her through.

Sarah's realtor says she can sell her house by the end of the week. The speed at which a house sale could happen catches her off guard. Luc's also rattled after he realizes Sarah has completely rearranged his art studio and washed all his brushes. She even threw out his lucky cup!

Luc's debut art show is a huge success, but he's still plenty peeved at Sarah. It has nothing to do with paint brushes or lucky cups. Luc is upset because Sarah put the house on the market without telling him. Though he's only been there a short time, this place is his home. Sarah says she'll call off the realtor and she even manages to retrieve Luc's lucky cup.

Scotty runs into Michelle on the street. She's very scattered and reluctant to talk. Scotty worries that she blames herself for the miscarriage. Olivia overhears her dads chatting about Michelle. They are concerned that perhaps she thinks she was their second choice, and explain that's not the case at all. Olivia seems fine, but Scotty worries Michelle isn't.

Scotty and Kevin do some fancy detective work to track down Michelle at the airport. She ignores their calls as she passes through the ticket area. Kevin and Scotty are stopped as they try to chase after her. Why are they so desperate to stop her from leaving? Well, Michelle is holding a baby in her arms as she disappears out of sight. A baby that could very well be the one she was carrying for Kevin and Scotty.
