Kevin is still stinging from the news that Scotty cheated on him. Frankly, so are we. There's a big charity event at the restaurant and Kevin doesn't want his family to know about their problems. But Sarah suspects something is up when she realizes Kevin has been sleeping in his office. After some prodding from his mom and sis, Kevin blurts out that Scotty cheated. So much for the notion that the family doesn't need to know.

Scotty tries to tell Saul what led him to cheat, but it doesn't go well. Kevin's appearance in court doesn't go well either when he gets a bit testy with the judge. Once court is adjourned, Nora tries to convince Kevin that he should try to work things out with his marriage. She says, "Scotty told you the truth. He didn't have to do that. That's worth a lot." After all, Nora did say Kevin and Scotty had the perfect marriage on her radio show.

Justin tends bar at the charity event and ends up meeting Marcus, the guy who had the fling with Scotty. He's a temporary worker Saul hired for the night. Justin shuffles Marcus away when Kevin arrives. He hustles back to kitchen to let Scotty know that Marcus is in the building. Scotty appreciates Justin’s help. He says, "I made a mistake that may have cost me my marriage. I never considered that it could cost me my family, too."

The fling took place during the restaurant's opening night. The guys were going through a rough patch. Scotty was upset when Kevin didn't show up for his big night. Marcus said all the right things and then a mistake was made.

When Kevin discovers the man Scotty was with is in the restaurant, he punches a guy's lights out. Too bad it's the wrong guy. That's okay because Justin decks the right one. Marcus goes down for a moment and then scurries out the door. This all takes place in the middle of Nora's speech. Looks like the party's over.

Kevin and Scotty have an emotional confrontation. Kevin says, "You were supposed to be better than this." Scotty responds, "I'm not. I'm just as lost and damaged and screwed up as the rest of you." It's hard to see these two in so much pain. Later, Kevin admits to Nora that he missed Scotty's party on purpose while he sat at a bar wallowing in bout of self-loathing.

When Sarah tells her kids she's going to marry Luc, Cooper wonder how long it'll last. He's not being mean. He just doesn't think people stay married forever. His mom and dad are prime examples of this. Sarah also starts to think that nothing is guaranteed. Luc is blown away by this attitude. He wants Sarah to show her kids that they're love actually is something you can take to the bank. We're guessing she do just that.

Jack is looking to get back in the business game in L.A. just so he can be closer to Kitty. He gets a job right away. But it'll take him to Vietnam for a year. He wants Kitty and Evan to come with him. Kitty can't believe it. This man she just met genuinely wants her to move to a foreign country. What's even more surprising is the fact that she's completely intrigued by the idea.

Jack announces that he's considering yet another career path after meeting a guy who is starting a solar energy company. Kitty wonders what happened to the idea of Vietnam. She tries to tell Jack that she can't just pick and go where the wind takes them. They both come to the conclusion that maybe their relationship has gone about as far as it can go. Thankfully, it never went as far as Vietnam.

The family convenes in Nora's kitchen for sundaes. Kevin and Justin are healing their hurting hands after punching people. Kitty's healing her hurting heart after her breakup with Jack. And Sarah and Luc lift everyone's spirits by officially announcing their engagement. Later, Kevin picks up the phone and calls Scotty. It's not reconciliation, but it's a start.
