AceShowbiz - "Jackass" star Steve-O was apprehended by officials in Canada on Sunday, March 27, eight years after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Customs officials at Calgary International Airport stopped the actor after noticing the outstanding warrant, which was issued in 2003 following a fight, during which the stuntman allegedly attacked an unidentified victim with an unknown object.
Entertainment Weekly reported that a spokesperson for the Calgary Police Service has said that the 36-year-old was was taken in to custody at around 7 A.M. local time. However, officials did not share more information about the 2003 incident that led to his arrest or spill anything about the weapon allegedly used.
Steve-O was jailed for a short time and then released after posting just over $10,000 bail, according to TMZ.com. He is due back in court in May.
