AceShowbiz - Rapper Petey Pablo pleaded guilty to possession of a stolen firearm during a hearing at a North Carolina court on Wednesday, March 16. The star, real name Moses Barrett III, handed himself in to authorities after a warrant for his arrest was put out in October 2010 in connection with an incident at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in September 2010.
Barrett was on his way to the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles when security officers allegedly found a gun in his carry-on luggage. He was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon and attempting to take the gun onto an airplane.
On Wednesday, Barrett admitted the first charge after prosecutors agreed to drop the two other charges in a plea agreement. He is facing up to 10 years behind bars when he is sentenced in June.
