Good Charlotte Want Daft Punk but Reject David Guetta
Music

Saying no to the French disc jokey, Good Charlotte are keen to collaborate with the 'Tron Legacy' soundtrack maker.

AceShowbiz - The stars of Good Charlotte have passed up the opportunity to work with David Guetta - because they want to stay true to their rock roots. The dance producer has been in talks with the "I Just Wanna Live" hitmakers about a collaboration, but they turned it down because they felt it wouldn't be their style.

Band member Benji Madden tells Britain's Daily Record, "Names like David Guetta have been talked about... but we stuck to our guns as we are a rock band at the end of the day. I don't want to diss anybody but I definitely have respect for these guys and the time and energy they put in."

However, there's one musical collaboration Madden dreams of: "We are open to working with other people and we would love to do something with the Daft Punk guys because they are legit. All of the records they make are on another level than any of the current pop stars."
