AceShowbiz - "Sex and the City 2" hunk John Corbett regrets going public about his future plans to marry longtime partner Bo Derek, because his family is now pressuring him to finally exchange vows. The unmarried star has been with the actress for eight years and recently admitted he was thinking about taking their relationship to the next level "one day".
Corbett was careful not to set a date, but the vague statement got his friends and family buzzing about a wedding. He explains, "I've had the same (phone) number for over 20 years. (I have) got people calling, 'We hear you're getting married!' It created such a big buzz in our family."
But the actor has a big disappointment in store for his excited relatives - he insists the couple won't become man and wife for a long time. He says, "We're not getting married in the near future."
