AceShowbiz - "The Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev puts her acting skills to the test by adopting foreign accents when she travels - to fool locals into thinking she's one of them. The Bulgarian-born star, who grew up in Canada, admits she often tries to go unnoticed when she visits other countries.
She says, "The British accent is really cool. I went to London... We were doing a press tour and I'm shopping for shoes and I decided to play a character. I'm an actress - I like to be different people."
But Dobrev admits it's hard to fool natives, especially as she becomes more famous. She adds: "I got busted! The girl was looking like me and she's like, 'You're not from here, why are you speaking like that?' "
