AceShowbiz - A former employee of YouTube star MrBeast has initiated a lawsuit accusing his companies of creating a hostile work environment. The complaint was filed on April 23 in North Carolina by Lorrayne Mavromatis, who previously led Instagram operations for the creator’s business ventures.
According to the lawsuit, Mavromatis alleges she faced retaliation after raising concerns about workplace misconduct. Her legal team states she endured "multiple adverse employment actions, including a negative transfer, demotion, and termination" following her complaints in late 2023.
The filing details claims of harassment from supervisors and clients. Mavromatis reportedly was told she "should be honored that the client was hitting on her" after reporting inappropriate advances. She also asserts unequal treatment compared to male colleagues, dismissive behavior in meetings, and a demotion to a less favorable role before being terminated shortly after returning from maternity leave.
MrBeast’s spokesperson strongly denied the allegations, describing the lawsuit as a "clout-chasing complaint" full of misrepresentations and false statements. They emphasized the company’s intention to vigorously contest the claims, calling the lawsuit an opportunistic attempt at financial gain.
The lawsuit names two of MrBeast’s business entities, MrBeastYouTube LLC and GameChanger 24/7 LLC, and includes claims of wrongful termination and emotional distress. The case has not yet proceeded to court.
MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is the most-followed creator on YouTube with approximately 479 million subscribers on his main channel. His estimated net worth is around $2.6 billion as of 2026, largely due to his diverse business ventures, including a production company and brands such as Feastables, beyond his YouTube income alone.
