AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg is set to launch a groundbreaking television project aimed at uniting audiences worldwide, teaming up with music executive Simon Cowell for the endeavor.
After more than ten years of contemplating a collaboration, the legendary rapper is finally moving forward with the plan. He intends to meet Cowell during an upcoming trip to the UK in a few weeks, where he will pitch a show designed to bring people together on a large scale.
Snoop Dogg shared with OK! Magazine that television and viewing habits have evolved, but there remains a strong desire for programs that foster national and global unity, much like Cowell’s iconic show The X Factor once did. He described Cowell as a "bad ass Brit" and praised him as an exceptional talent scout who still has a remarkable show to offer audiences.
For years, scheduling conflicts prevented this collaboration from materializing. However, with Snoop Dogg’s increasing presence in the UK—partly due to his ownership stake in Swansea FC—the timing is now ideal to pursue this project.
Snoop Dogg has demonstrated his ability to succeed on television through various ventures. His production company, Death Row Pictures, holds a multi-year agreement with NBCUniversal for developing film and television content.
He is well known for hosting roles such as VH1’s Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party and serving as a coach on NBC’s The Voice, where his mentorship has earned him a devoted fanbase.
Beyond production and hosting, Snoop Dogg has also appeared as Team USA’s honorary coach at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, contributing energy and excitement to NBC’s Olympic coverage alongside Martha Stewart.
Although offered a judging role on the U.S. version of The X Factor, Snoop Dogg declined, preferring to focus on mentoring emerging artists rather than judging them.
This upcoming collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Simon Cowell could mark a significant moment in television history, aiming to create a show that redefines how entertainment can unite viewers around the world.
