Rose features Sandra Hüller in a powerful leading role, earning her the Berlinale Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance. The film explores the story of a 17th-century German woman attempting to live as a man, a narrative praised by critics including The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney, who described it as "an eloquent demolition of the gender binary." Distribution deals for Rose have been made with KMBO in France, Avalon in Spain, Paradiso for the Benelux countries, Gutek in Poland, Ost For Paradis in Denmark, Edge for Sweden and Iceland, Fidalgo in Norway, Future Film Oy in Finland, Cirko Film in Hungary, No Comboio in Portugal, Weirdwave in Greece, Zero Gravity for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Beta Film in Bulgaria, MCF Megacom for the Former Yugoslavia region, and Scanorama in the Baltics. Additional sales include South Korea through Pancinema, the Middle East and North Africa via Gulf Film, and Israel by Lev Cinemas. The film will be released by Piffl in Germany, Filmladen in Austria, and Filmcoopi in Switzerland.

Queen at Sea, Lance Hammer’s poignant examination of dementia’s impact on a family, won the Silver Bear Jury Prize and Silver Bear for Best Supporting Performance, awarded jointly to Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall, who portray a married couple. The film also stars Juliette Binoche and Florence Hunt. Leslie Felperin of The Hollywood Reporter described it as "sincere, urgent and unflinchingly honest."

Match Factory has secured distribution for Queen at Sea in numerous territories including Curzon for the UK and Ireland, Aurora in Poland, Imagine Film in the Benelux region, Challan in South Korea, Frenetic Films in Switzerland, Cinobo in Greece, FILMS4YOU in Portugal, Investacommerce AG for the Former Yugoslavia, Scanorama in the Baltics, Andrews Film in Taiwan, and Cine Canibal across Latin America.
