AceShowbiz - The global sensation BTS recently opened up about which celebrities have left them starstruck during their career. On the Elvis Duran Show, members of BTS revealed some memorable encounters with famous personalities who attended their concerts and backstage events.
During the interview posted on April 1, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook were asked about notable figures they had seen at their shows. SUGA responded first, mentioning in general terms that artists he admired as a younger fan coming to their concerts were moments that made him feel starstruck.
RM shared a specific memory involving actor Matthew McConaughey, recalling that in 2019, McConaughey and his son visited their concert and came backstage. "I was so into Interstellar," RM said, highlighting how meaningful the encounter was for him personally.
j-hope also expressed surprise and admiration when he learned that American pop singer Gracie Abrams had attended one of their shows a few years ago. He described her as an “amazing artist” and found it surreal to see such talented performers at their concerts.
This conversation took place shortly after the release of BTS’s latest album, ARIRANG, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on March 20. The album marks the band’s first full-length project since 2020. Supporting the release, BTS recently premiered a behind-the-scenes documentary on Netflix and announced plans for an upcoming world tour, both topics discussed during the interview.
In a lighter moment, the members were asked which of them would survive best in the wilderness if left alone. RM confidently chose SUGA, calling him a “walking GPT” due to his vast knowledge.
