AceShowbiz - A production company is suing Nicki Minaj for allegedly failing to pay over $275,000 in concert production expenses related to her 2023 performances.
According to a report by TMZ dated March 24, 2026, 24/7 Productions (USA) Inc. has filed a lawsuit claiming that the New York rapper has not reimbursed them for services rendered during her 2023 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball appearances and work connected to her album Pink Friday 2. The lawsuit alleges that despite repeated efforts over nearly two years, Nicki Minaj's company, Pink Friday Productions, has not paid any of the outstanding balance.
The legal complaint reportedly states that the production company never received an explanation for the delayed payments, with the only response from Nicki Minaj's team being promises to “look into this.”
The relationship between 24/7 Productions and Nicki Minaj began in 2022 when they provided production services for her performance at the 39th annual MTV Video Music Awards. Later, in 2023, the company was hired again for two concerts: the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball and the launch event for Pink Friday 2.
24/7 Productions claims it secured budget approval from Nicki Minaj's team and managed all aspects of production, including advance planning, on-site management, staffing, audio, lighting, rigging, ground transportation, and full logistics support. The company also asserts that Nicki Minaj received approximately $650,000 for her Jingle Ball appearances alone.
In addition, 24/7 Productions states they advanced more than $275,000 to Nicki Minaj to cover various expenses, expecting reimbursement that has yet to be made. The company is now pursuing legal action for breach of contract and seeking damages exceeding $275,000.
XXL magazine has reportedly reached out to 24/7 Productions for comment regarding the lawsuit but no response has been shared publicly as of now.
This lawsuit highlights ongoing disputes over concert production payments within the entertainment industry, placing Nicki Minaj at the center of a financial controversy related to her recent live performances and promotional events.
