AceShowbiz - Hybe America has officially introduced a new Latin-focused music label named Sin Silencio. This strategic move marks the company’s deeper commitment to the Latin music industry, aiming to spotlight innovative artists who transcend traditional genre boundaries.
The label’s initial lineup features three emerging talents: Flavia Laos, a Peruvian-born Latin pop singer known for her transition from television acting; Esty, a Dominican-American artist blending música urbana and Latin pop that reflects her multicultural background; and Trooko, a Honduran producer with a Latin Grammy nomination to his name. Trooko has an impressive track record, having collaborated with major names such as Bad Bunny, Thalia, and Bomba Estéreo, and began his career working alongside electro-pop producer Switch.
Josh Albillo, the industry executive leading Sin Silencio, emphasized the label’s mission to provide a platform where artists are encouraged to push creative boundaries without restrictions. According to Albillo, Latin music is currently one of the most influential cultural movements worldwide, and Sin Silencio aims to nurture artists who are reshaping the genre’s sound on a global scale.
The label plans to formally introduce its roster during a showcase event at SXSW on Saturday, March 14. At this event, Flavia Laos, Esty, and Trooko will perform together for the first time under the Sin Silencio banner. Additionally, Albillo will participate in a panel discussion outlining the label’s vision and how it intends to influence the future of Latin music.
With its inaugural artists spanning diverse backgrounds and musical styles, Sin Silencio highlights Hybe America’s dedication to fostering global talent and innovation within the Latin music scene. This new label represents a significant step in expanding the company’s cultural reach and supporting the evolution of Latin sounds on an international scale.
