Produced by Studio Lambert Scotland, The Traitors and Celebrity Traitors continue to draw viewers with their signature mix of secrets, deception, challenging missions, banishments, and numerous dramatic twists, all set against the atmospheric backdrop of the iconic Ardross Castle.
The BBC further emphasized that this landmark deal solidifies iPlayer’s role as the U.K. home for the Traitors franchise. Alongside the BBC’s own versions, iPlayer will also feature international adaptations of the series from countries such as the United States, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Celebrity Traitors, which premiered on BBC One and iPlayer in October 2025, has become a major hit. It has averaged an audience of 14.9 million viewers throughout its run, peaking at 15.4 million for the finale. This success has made the series the top entertainment episode in the U.K. market since 2016 and the number one show across all genres and platforms in 2025.
