On March 4, Diplo shared a nostalgic photo on Instagram showing himself with BTS members Jungkook and RM. Alongside the image, he posted screenshots of the ARIRANG tracklist, highlighting his production credits. His message was simple yet heartfelt: “ARMY please be nice ... I made 5 of these.”
In addition to the photo and tracklist, Diplo posted a video clip from 2020, capturing a backstage moment at the Grammys with BTS, Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Mason Ramsey. During that event, they performed the viral hit “Old Town Road.” This glimpse into past collaborations underscores the longtime connection between Diplo and BTS.
The newly revealed ARIRANG tracklist, announced on March 3, shows Diplo produced “Body to Body,” “FYA,” “One More Night,” “Like Animals,” and the album’s closing track, “Into the Sun.” The 14-song project also features production contributions from other notable artists, including Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made-It, and Ryan Tedder. Every BTS member—Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, along with Jungkook and RM—participated in producing all the tracks, showcasing their artistic involvement.
Before the official tracklist release, Diplo expressed enthusiasm about the album. In a February interview with TMZ, he said the upcoming BTS album was set to “shock the world.” He added, “I just feel so lucky ... to link up with a group like that and have them trust me and do some awesome music.”
Fans of BTS have been eagerly awaiting new full-length material since their last album, Be, which debuted in 2020. That album dominated the Billboard 200 and generated multiple No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, cementing BTS’s global success.
