AceShowbiz - After a decade since his last solo studio album, Bruno Mars has officially revealed the tracklist for his upcoming fourth LP, The Romantic, set to release on February 27.
This nine-song collection marks Mars' first solo effort since the 2016 album 24K Magic. The announcement came on Monday, February 16, confirming The Romantic will be led by the single "I Just Might," which notably debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This achievement was a milestone for Mars, as it was his first career No. 1 debut and his tenth overall Hot 100 chart-topper.
The release of The Romantic arrives amid a period of strong chart success for Mars. His recent collaboration with Lady Gaga, "Die With a Smile," dominated the Billboard Global 200 for 18 weeks and earned a Grammy Award, further solidifying his continued relevance in the music industry.
Meanwhile, the track "APT." featuring ROSÉ held the No. 1 position for 19 weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and 12 weeks atop the Global 200. This song was recognized as IFPI's biggest-selling global single of 2025 and was the most-streamed song worldwide on Apple Music that year.
In January 2025, Mars made history by becoming the first artist to surpass 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Additionally, he became the first artist to earn six RIAA Diamond-certified singles in 2022. As of 2026, he holds at least seven Diamond certifications, including the monumental "Just the Way You Are," which is certified 21-times Platinum, making it the highest-certified song in RIAA history.
Other Diamond-certified hits by Mars include "Uptown Funk" (with Mark Ronson), "Grenade," "That's What I Like," "Locked Out of Heaven," "When I Was Your Man," and "The Lazy Song."
Mars has accumulated 35 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, with 10 reaching No. 1. His debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, has spent over 345 weeks on the Billboard 200, making it the longest-running studio album by a solo male artist on that chart.
