The four-day rock and metal event will take place at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville from September 17 to 20, featuring more than 200 bands.
The festival schedule will see Iron Maiden top the opening night bill alongside Pantera and Megadeth. My Chemical Romance will lead the Friday lineup with Pierce The Veil and A Day To Remember. Limp Bizkit headlines Saturday, and Tool will close out the festival on the final night.
A wide array of other major acts are confirmed for the weekend, including Alice Cooper, The Prodigy, BABYMETAL, Danzig, Rise Against, and Ice Nine Kills. The bill also features The Mars Volta, Mastodon, The Used, Coheed And Cambria, Taking Back Sunday, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, and Ministry.
This year's event will include special anniversary performances. Jimmy Eat World will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their album Bleed American, Sleeping With Sirens will honor the 15th anniversary of Let's Cheer To This, and Alien Ant Farm will mark 25 years of ANThology.
Promoter Danny Wimmer stated, "Last year, we took over Kentucky Kingdom and broke rock festival records. This year, we're back to deliver the ultimate rock escape." He added, "Louder Than Life is your playground - ride the coasters, catch legendary and emerging bands, enjoy incredible food and bourbon, and dive headfirst into the rock experience you've been waiting for."
In addition to the music, festival attendees will receive free access to amusement rides at Kentucky Kingdom, which will be open exclusively for ticket holders.
The 2026 lineup follows a massive 2025 event that featured headliners like Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Deftones, and Slayer.
