AceShowbiz - North West has officially signed with Gamma, the independent music company founded by former Apple executive Larry Jackson that is rapidly gaining influence in the industry.
Sources confirmed to Rolling Stone that North West has been actively working in the studio since joining Gamma. The label, launched in 2023, has already partnered with notable artists such as Mariah Carey, Usher, Sexyy Red, and Snoop Dogg. Notably, Snoop Dogg has transitioned his iconic Death Row catalog under Gamma’s distribution services.
North’s father, Ye—formerly known as Kanye West—also has a partnership with Gamma for his upcoming 12th studio album, Bully, scheduled for release on March 20. This collaboration highlights the growing synergy between the family and the label.
At just 12 years old, North West is carving out her own music career within the influential Kardashian-West legacy. Her recent single, Piercing on My Hand, released on February 6, was reportedly produced by Ye and Will Frenchman under the Gamma banner. In January, North performed the track live in Mexico City before nearly 40,000 fans alongside her father.
During the same concert, the duo also performed Ye’s 2014 tribute to North, titled Only One, as well as tracks from ¥$ including Talking and Bomb.
North West previously contributed vocals to Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s single Talking/Once Again, which peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charted in the U.K. She also appeared on FKA Twigs’ track Childlike Things from the Grammy-winning album Eusexua, showcasing her rap skills in both English and Japanese over Twigs’ electronic production.
